Here's what to get excited about in PSO2 Episode 5

  • 'Phantasy Star Online 2' Now Enables You To Change Servers With The Ship Transfer Feature, Here's How Starting today, July 8th,  PSO2 Meseta players can change servers in Phantasy Star Online 2 with the new ship transfer feature through a scheduled maintenance period. Unlike most MMOs, PSO2 does not call its chunks of gamers"servers" and instead refers to their own segmentation as"ships" to get a lore-friendly term. The idea is that players are aboard different ARKS ships orbiting planets and going out on assignments.

Since launching it's been impossible to move to a different ship, but thankfully that's coming to a conclusion. Once the care period ends on July 8th the feature will be accessible. However, it is not free. PSO2 is a free-to-play game that means it has quite a healthy microtransaction shop full of discretionary items, the newest Ship Transfer attribute falls into that category. You'll need to spend 700 AC to do a transfer, which isn't much in real-world cash, just a few bucks, and you can honestly earn that through in-game approaches as well in the event that you'd like.

The ship transfer doesn't move your entire accounts nor does it transfer all of your things and account information, instead it is only data related to that particular character. This includes your Meseta, Weapon Palette preferences, your cousins, pets, etc.. Nonetheless, it's not a complete account move. If you are qualified, you can start the transfer procedure on the Character Selection Screen through a scheduled maintenance by choosing'Program for Ship Transfer during Scheduled Maintenance' under the'Procedures' section. Transfers are enacted in the sequence they have been received, so if you miss the current period it'll be completed next time. Before the maintenance is finished it is possible to change your mind and go back to cancel if you'd like.

You don't just wail on things, either. It's possible to dodge, parry, utilize flawlessly timed strikes to do more harm, and make use of a large host of Photon Arts. Photon Arts are dropped by foes and can be learned by selecting them at the menu. You then simply open your subpalette and put them in, and you can use them in conflict. Leveling up obvio  usly frees you skill points which you can use to put into skill trees that build up your character. One neat thing which Phantasy Star Online 2 does is that it also has subclass versions of the principal classes, allowing players to build their characters in more specific ways while simultaneously leveling another class.

There is a new story, updated features and even a new class to enjoy. Episode 5 looks like a substantial departure from Episode 4, since there are a great deal of new things to experience along with a new, high level cap of 90 to reach. Here's what to get excited about in PSO2 Episode 5, and the way to come back if you were tired of battling a boat. The first Scion Class, Hero, is here. Unlike regular classes, there are requirements to unlock Scions, plus they tend to play otherwise. To perform Hero, you should have some two level 75 courses before talking to Cofy to buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta unlock it.
