It's a great goal

  • However, it's a great goal and the reward is far more than some nice skillcape-I mean, really, with a skill such as woodcutting it is just not that good for cash or anything! Although runecrafting would make a lot of money, it is terribly dull for 99 (so I'd assume). Wouldn't it be much more sensible simply to decide on a money-making goal, such as 91, to find that and only casually earn money with it instead? If you find levelling battle dull, I can not imagine you enjoying going to RuneScape gold get a skillcape. I wouldn't worry about your combat level, unless perhaps you're seeking to do a few particular quests requiring 85 or even 100 combat? Just do whatever seems fun to you. It is just that I can't imagine any of your options being that fun given your description of yourself.

First of all, what is your runescape name? Neither of those ones that you've given work on the highscores, and it would be rather wonderful to see that your stats before giving suggestions. However, have you ever considered setting more balanced goals, such as acheivement diaries? I am now considerign gunning for the improved excalibur. With nearly none of those"hard" levels required, I have calculated it might take around 5M if I'm lucky to level these abilities. Still, it is a wonderful goal and the payoff is far more than some nice skillcape-I mean, really, using a skill like woodcutting it is simply not that good for money or anything!

Although runecrafting would earn a lot of money, it is horribly tedious for 99 (so I would assume). Wouldn't it be more sensible simply to decide on a profitable goal, such as 91, to OSRS buy gold find that and just casually earn money with it rather? If you find levelling combat tedious, I can't imagine you enjoying heading for a skillcape.
